H. Stuart Peake, M.D. Endowment Fund

An endowment fund has been established in H. Stuart Peake’s honor at MMF for students in the new Radiologic Technology Program at Brookhaven College. The two-year program is designed to prepare students to take routine x-rays through running state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. Dr. Peake said “We must make health care careers more attractive for the radiologic technologists and radiologists in order to fill the positions the increasing health care consumption demands. This endowment fund will pave the way for the future in our community.”

Alice Villadsen, President of Brookhaven College, says “With the enormous interest in Brookhaven’s Radiologic Technology program and the shortage of professionals in the field, the H. Stuart Peake Scholarship Endowment makes a huge difference in the ability of students to complete degrees. Both Dr. Peake and the Metrocrest Medical Foundation are to be congratulated for their visionary investment in this program. The college looks forward to a long and valuable relationship as we, together, help meet the needs of health care for our community.”
