About Us
Metrocrest Medical Foundation (MMF) is a non-profit organization established in 1979 to be the fundraising arm of the Metrocrest Hospital Authority (MHA) to support the healthcare needs in the Metrocrest communities.

- Metrocrest Medical Foundation is located in Plaza I of the Texas Hospital for Advanced Medicine
- Metrocrest Medical Foundation supports and raises funds for:
- Prescription Assistance Program - Assists uninsured clients unable to pay for necessary prescriptions to continue health care when being discharged from Texas Hospital for Advanced Medicine and Baylor Medical Center of Carrollton hospitals
- D-TAG Tattoo Removal Program - Assists students seriously interested in leaving the gang lifestyle have homemade gang tattoos removed with laser treatments
- Women's Health Fund - Provides $11 screening mammograms for uninsured, asymptomatic women age 40-65 within our service area
- Lifeline Program - Provides emergency call button, primarily to the elderly, to permit independent living with the security of getting help when needed
- Metrocrest Medical Foundation has been entrusted with the responsibility of managing the following endowments to benefit Texas Hospital for Advanced Medicine and Baylor Medical Center of Carrollton Hospital staff:
- Radiologic Technology students at Brookhaven College have the opportunity of receiving scholarships, some of which are funded by the Metrocrest Medical Foundation
